Casa Xica, located in the old town of the tranquil village of Albons, between Baix and Alt Empordà, occupies the ground floor of an original house from 1783 that was part of the fortification of the Castle. Recently restored, it combines contemporary furniture and local antiques, evoking a Mediterranean essence in all its rooms. Upon entering, we find a large vaulted ceiling foyer-lounge that connects to the outdoor area. The patio-garden is composed of a saltwater pool, an area of ​​Mediterranean plants, an outdoor shower, and the fully open kitchen of the house. The house has 2 bedrooms, both with private bathrooms. Casa Xica is the ideal accommodation for those looking to spend a few days of disconnection in an authentic village and just 10 minutes from some of the most beautiful beaches on the Costa Brava. The ruins of Empúries, recognized as the first Greek settlement in the Iberian Peninsula, as well as L'Escala, a coastal town with a large number of restaurants and shops, are also 10 minutes away. The house has 2 bicycles ideal for exploring the surroundings of Albons.

Relevant information: i) Casa Xica occupies the ground floor of a large 3-story village house. The owners' house, completely independent, occupies the first and second floors. The owners are a couple of painters who split their time between Albons, Barcelona, and travels around the world. ii) The kitchen is covered but completely open to the outside. This is important to highlight because although Casa Xica is rented between the months of April and October coinciding with the good weather season, it may sometimes be cool. iii) The house does not have a parking space, but there are various public parking areas nearby. iv) The house is located in the center of the old town, where guests can enjoy great tranquility, something that all guests must respect.
